As an academy, we are interested in what the students want to learn. We provide them with the skills to make them an exceptional hairstylist or beauty expert. Every day is different for our students, just as every client is different. We allow students to get as much experience as they can to have the ability to take any situation as an educational one.

Students can choose a three day per week or a five day per week program, in order to hit their 1,500 hours for the state board. Below is an idea of a typical student schedule in the midst of their education.

Outside The Classroom

Field Trips such as salon tours, TIGI Learning Centers and academy outings are a great way to show students work beyond the classroom. Therefore, later on in their academy careers, students can participate in styling activities within the community, such as glam squads for Kidd’s Kids, braid bars or fashion shows. This allows for students to check out how various aspects of the industry work.

TONI&GUY Hairdressing Academy has many areas of interest that can appeal to a variety of students. Our academy allows for students to learn the fundamentals of hair. We encourage our students to think outside the box to allow for creativity. Successful alumni have stepped outside the doors of TONI&GUY to complete tremendous accomplishments in the industry.
