Black, gold, edgy, and a little mystical, all of which describe this year’s Photographic Awards theme and our latest makeup tutorial by National Cosmetics Director, Anjanette Henson. If you’re seeking the perfect look to wear on June 28th, follow this tutorial!
But first, the tools.
- Makeup Forever Flash Palette
- Pigment Cosmetics Neutral Palette
- Essence Liquid Eyeliner
- Gold Foil Flakes
- Pointed Liner Brush
- Cream Shadow Brush
- Small Blending Brush
- False Lashes
Using your pointed liner brush, outline the liner shape with the black shade from Makeup Forever Flash Palette. Start from the inner corner right above your brow bone and swoop the liner to the outer edge. Next, connect the liner to the base and edge of your lid, creating a large winged line.
Using your cream shadow brush, fill in the shape with Gold from Makeup Forever Flash Palette. Fill the area from the inner corner to the middle of the eyelid.
Fill in the outside of the shape with Black shade from the Flash Palette and blend into the gold shade
Take both the gold and black eyeshadow from the Pigment Cosmetics Neutral Eyeshadow Palette, and pack on top of corresponding colors from the Flash Palette.
Sharpen and outline the winged out shape of eyeshadow with Essence Liquid Eyeliner in black
Apply the Gold Foil Flakes on top of gold eyeshadow, focusing more in the inner corner of the eye. Complete the look with false eyelashes.
