Make It Yours: Sandra Oh’s Golden Globes Red Carpet Hair

2019 is Sandra Oh’s year — and rightfully so.

Not only has she been killing it on her screen with her most recent role as Eve in BBC’s Killing Eve, she’s also something of a beauty darling. This awards season, Sandra has continuously delivered some of the best looks we’ve seen. Who could forget her get up at the 76th Golden Globes award, where not only was she an incredibly funny and entertaining host, and not only did she won best actress in a  TV drama for her performance as the aforementioned character, she did it all while donning in an ethereal white Versace gown fitting for a powerhouse—like her.

The moment she graced the red carpet, social media was on fire, with commentators singing her praises for how majestic and beautiful she looked. Of course, while her designer dress was quite the statement-maker — people also couldn’t get enough of her breathtaking side-swept hairstyle done by hairstyle Ted Gibson. The bob-length ‘do was the epitome of old Hollywood Glamour with her big bouncy curls draping her face on one side and the rest of her hair tucked back behind her ear on the other.

Even if you don’t have your own glam squad, you can also achieve Sandra’s stunning red carpet look at home for your own momentous occasion. First, “start by curling all the hair in the same direction,” hairstylist Stephen Jaime explains. “Then brush it all out working and sculpting all the hair to form a uniform pattern. To achieve the faux bob pin up mid lengths and ends to desired length.” Once done, spritz some holding spray to lay down down flyaways, reach for your best getup — and, you, too, look like a winner.
